VTC Symphony Orchestra & Chorus will join hands with violin virtuoso Mr. LEUNG Kin Fung to present the Butterfly Lovers Violin Concerto to mark the 60th anniversary of its première in 1959, unfolding the tragic love story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai with melancholic melodies. Under the baton of Artistic Director and Conductor Dr. Henry Shek, VTC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus will also present a series of masterpieces under the theme “Heroic Stars”, including main themes from Star Wars and Mars, the Bringer of War from The Planets Suite.

In view of public events and unforeseen traffic conditions, the Vocational Training Council (VTC) Symphony Orchestra and Chorus Annual Concert “Heroic Stars” originally scheduled for Saturday, 2 November 2019 at the Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall was cancelled.
